Tag‑Level Team Member Permissions

Why it matters Now that tags are the primary way to group events, granting access one event at a time is slow and error‑prone. Teams running dozens of similarly tagged events must repeat the same permission steps for every new session, risking omissions and extra admin work. What we need Let organisers assign a role to a team member once per tag (or set of tags), exactly as they do today for individual events, so access automatically follows the tag. - Add a “Tags” selector to the existing Add Team Member dialogue. - Tag‑level permissions should be inherited by any future events that receive those tags. - A team member can hold multiple tag‑based roles concurrently, and existing role hierarchies still apply. This removes repetitive permission updates and keeps scopes tidy as an event catalogue scales.

Thanks for suggesting this. We’ve now added event access and permissions to Team Groups. A group can cover every event or events carrying selected tags, including future matching events, while individual grants and event exclusions handle exceptions. You can see the full update here: Give Team Groups event access and permissions (https://heysummit.userjot.com/updates/p/give-team-groups-eve…).
