Hey, thanks so much for the feedback item. I'd love to understand a bit more about what you'd want from a ThriveCart integration that cannot be achieved with the webhook, just to make sure we're fully understanding your setup and use case. Any insights you can share would be much appreciated.
Hi Ben, Thank you for your swift reply. I guess that what I am looking for is ease of use and a more seamless experience that reduces the potential for errors. I was able to connect using the webhook, but I can see how a single misstep (especially the bit with copying the External ID) can cause the whole house of cards to come tumbling down. There's also the potential, I assume, for improved data accuracy with a native integration as both systems "talk" to each other more efficiently, not to mention the opportunity for better automation and smoother workflows. CRMs and email would probably work more seamlessly, too. I hope this makes sense.
Thanks Laurel - really appreciate the extra context. We have a few other integrations we’d like to roll out first, but this would be nice to look into in a bit more depth in the future.
Sounds great, Ben. Thank you for listening.
Thanks again for suggesting this, Laurel. We’ve now shipped a native ThriveCart connection, so organisers can connect once and map products and funnel offers to HeySummit tickets by name instead of setting up webhooks and External IDs manually.
