Feature request – Grouping talks into training paths/bundles

Hello, We would like to add a “Training Paths” section to our HeySummit page, alongside the current section displaying our upcoming training sessions and conferences. The idea would simply be to group several existing talks under one training path, without adding any learning progress or course-tracking features. For example: Training Path – Management Essentials - DATE : XX: Managing performance - DATE : XX: Handling difficult situations - DATE : XX: Clarifying roles and responsibilities - DATE : XX: Engaging your team Each training session would still remain visible and available for individual purchase within the regular event schedule. The “Training Paths” section would mainly allow us to: - visually present the training sessions that belong together; - briefly explain the purpose of the path; - display the talks included; - offer a button to purchase the full training path; - keep the option to purchase each talk individually. We picture this as a new section on the page, above or below the upcoming training sessions, featuring one or more training path cards. By clicking on a card, participants could view the included sessions and choose between purchasing the full path or an individual talk. Is there currently a way to group talks in this manner within HeySummit? If not, is this a feature that could be considered? Thank you!

Hi Sophie, Thanks for clarifying. I understand what you mean now, and we've added the ability to choose a specific ticket for each category. When someone clicks Subscribe on that category page, HeySummit will take them to checkout with the chosen ticket already selected. We're currently in the middle of a major dashboard design and UI update, so we'll deploy this change to production over the weekend as part of that wider update.

@ben Do you think this is possible? This would be a game changer for us.

Hi Sophie, Thanks for following up, and sorry I was unable to respond to this earlier. We do already provide the ability to link talks to categories, and of course you could then rename the phrase "categories" to something like "training paths" or something else. If you then go into that category section on the public event site, you could then click into one of those training paths, and you would then see all the talks linked to it. Would that give you what you're asking for here, or is there something else you'd want to achieve that isn't already covered by that workflow?

Hi Ben, thank you for your answer! I tried the categories and I think its going to work. I need to be able to link a specific ticket link to each category. Could this be possible? Like you did for the talks.

Yes, you can restrict tickets to specific categories :) I'll mark this feature request as closed for now, but do feel free to reach out to support if you have any further questions about categories and how they work.

No I mean, have a direct link for a specific ticket. When you click on subscribe to the category, I want a specific ticket checkout link. This is something you created a month or two ago for talks.
