Automatic IndexNow submissions for public event page changes
HeySummit already supports hosting the IndexNow verification key, but currently does not automatically notify IndexNow when public event pages change.
It would be very useful if HeySummit could automatically submit affected URLs to IndexNow whenever a public page is:
- created or published;
- updated;
- unpublished;
- deleted.
This should cover the main public page types, including event pages, talks/sessions, speakers, topics and schedule-related pages.
Ideally, HeySummit would submit only the URL(s) that actually changed, rather than resubmitting the entire site.
We have verified that the IndexNow key and manual/API submissions work correctly for our HeySummit event. We have also built an external Make automation as a workaround, but native support would make this much more reliable and accessible for HeySummit users.
This would help search engines discover new and updated event content faster and remove outdated URLs more efficiently.
