Based on our recent experience, we would like to share some suggestions that we believe are particularly important, especially for scientific conferences where accuracy of certification and professional presentation are essential.
In academic and scientific events, participants usually receive a consolidated certificate of attendance, rather than individual certificates for each session. We suggest adding the option to issue one full certificate, provided that a participant has attended a minimum number of sessions (e.g., 8 out of 10), instead of receiving certificates for partial attendance.
Currently, certificates may state “Certificate of Successful Completion” even when the attendee has only partially joined sessions (sometimes for just a few seconds). This is misleading. When the cover page is enabled, the first page states “Certificate of Successful Completion”, while subsequent pages may indicate “Partial Attendance.” This inconsistency can undermine the credibility of the certificate in a scientific context. We suggest revising this logic so that a completion certificate is only issued when participants meet the required minimum attendance.
When the cover page is disabled, the event name displayed on the certificate is the internal code name we used for our own reference. It would be very helpful if organizers could always edit the displayed event name on certificates, regardless of whether a cover page is used.
Overall recommendation: Please consider offering greater flexibility and customization options in the way certificates are generated and displayed.
On the main landing page, we are able to edit translations when needed. However, on the subpages of the landing page, the translations are fixed and taken directly from the system. As one word may not always be accurately translated in all contexts, it would be very useful to have the option to edit translations in the subpages as well, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout.
(3)HeySummit - Βεβαίωση Παρακολούθησης.pdf (certificate without cover page):
Event name shown as “ΔΙΗΜΕΡΙΔΑ” (our internal code, not the official event title).
Cannot be edited when the cover page is disabled.
Request: Allow organizers to edit the event name on certificates, regardless of cover page settings.
HeySummit - Βεβαίωση Παρακολούθησης (1).pdf (certificate with cover page):
The first page states “Certificate of Successful Completion”, suggesting full attendance.
Following pages clearly show only partial attendance (e.g., 14 seconds, 1 minute, 27 seconds in sessions of 60–100 minutes).
Request: Revise the logic so that a “Certificate of Successful Completion” is issued only when participants meet the minimum attendance criteria.
We hope you will consider these suggestions for your future development roadmap, as they would make a meaningful difference for organizers of scientific conferences who rely on your platform for professionalism and accuracy.
Thank you very much for your attention, and we look forward to your feedback.
