Delegate or Member Directory

I know this was previously requested and was closed as it included messaging and we got the Lobby. The lobby is fantastic but I still would really like a functional member directory

Core Functionality:

  • Create a public directory displaying all event delegates/attendees

  • Mirror the existing speaker directory design and functionality

  • Each delegate entry links to their individual profile page (similar to speaker profiles)

Access Control:

  • Viewable by other delegates only (not public)

  • Optional but nice: Restrict visibility to specific ticket types/tiers

Profile Management:

  • Leverage existing custom profile question system

  • Event organisers can designate which custom fields appear on public profiles

  • Delegates control their own profile information

Directory Features:

  • Search: By delegate name and profile description

  • Filters:

    • Ticket type/membership tier

    • Custom categories (if applicable)

  • Layout: Grid/list view consistent with speaker directory

Technical Notes:

  • This request specifically excludes messaging functionality (as noted, this was why the previous request was closed as completed)

  • Builds on existing infrastructure (speaker directory, custom profile questions)

Use Case: Enables networking and community building by allowing delegates to discover and connect with other attendees based on their profiles, interests, and membership types.
