I’d like the ability to add a Speaker & Affiliate Resources section within HeySummit—either as:
A new tab/area specifically for speaker/affiliate resources, or
An expansion/rename of the existing Swipe Copy area to include templates, guides, and tip‑style content.
This section would allow organizers to upload or paste simple text resources, templates, checklists, or links—just like the Swipe Copy area currently allows for promotional copy.
Examples of what I want to include:
Worksheet templates
Simple text‑style guides
Lists of tips or instructions
Resource links
Creative prompts or content outlines
For instance, I want to provide speakers with a “Speaker Intro Video Guide” containing prompts, recording tips, and a submission checklist—all in one easy-to-access spot.
Speakers and affiliates often need more than promotional copy—they need practical resources to help them prepare their materials, record videos, create worksheets, and deliver polished content.
Right now, I have to host these resources on my own website or send them manually. Having a built‑in Resources area would:
Centralize everything in HeySummit
Reduce confusion and back‑and‑forth communication
Make onboarding smoother and more professional
Give contributors exactly what they need, right where they already are
Save organizers time by eliminating external pages and duplicated instructions
This is especially helpful for creative events where contributors need templates, prompts, or style guidance.
This enhancement would support all organisers by:
Providing a dedicated space for contributor resources
Improving speaker and affiliate preparedness
Reducing repetitive questions
Streamlining onboarding workflows
Supporting events that require templates, guides, or structured content
Making HeySummit more robust for education‑based, creative, or collaborative events
Many organisers already create external resource pages—this feature would bring that workflow inside HeySummit, making the platform more complete and user‑friendly.
