We’re introducing a more flexible option for attendee login that balances ease of access with event management needs. While magic links remain the default and recommended method for attendee sign-in, and unique attendee passwords have always been available, you now have a third choice designed for convenience in select scenarios.
What’s New
Event-Wide Attendee Passwords: Instead of having random / unique passwords generated for each attendee, you can now set a single, shared password for the entire event.
Easier Communication: This shared password can be easily included in your follow-up emails (though it’s also included automatically in registration confirmations), making it simpler for attendees to access the event.
Alternative to Magic Links: While magic links via email remain the most secure and streamlined method, this new option offers flexibility when a shared login approach is more practical.
This update gives you more control over how attendees access your event, especially when simplicity is a higher priority than strict security.
