ZenStream is now available as a built-in live stream source in HeySummit.

When setting up a live broadcast for a talk or stage, choose ZenStream and paste either your ZenStream player URL or stream ID. HeySummit will display the stream directly on the broadcast page, without requiring custom embed code.

This lets you use ZenStream for video delivery while keeping the rest of your event experience, including HeySummit chat, Q&A, and polls, in one place.

Sponsor Grid blocks in Page Builder can now be limited to specific event categories or custom sponsor categories.

In a Sponsor Grid’s settings, choose “Sponsors in selected categories”, then select one or more Event Categories or Sponsor Categories. Sponsors matching any selected category will appear, while the existing exclusion controls can still hide broader sponsor types.

Existing Sponsor Grid blocks continue showing all eligible sponsors until you choose category filtering.

API and MCP access is now available on every active paid HeySummit plan, including Starter and Growth.

That means more teams can connect their own tools through the HeySummit API, or connect compatible AI assistants through MCP to inspect events, spot setup gaps, and preview supported event changes before approving them.

Zoom meetings and webinars can now play directly on your HeySummit talk pages, so attendees can join without leaving your event.

When setting up a talk with Zoom Meeting or Zoom Webinar, choose Embed in HeySummit under how attendees should join. You can still choose Open externally whenever you prefer attendees to join through Zoom.

HeySummit continues to register attendees with Zoom behind the scenes, giving each attendee the correct access while keeping the live experience on your event page.

You can now inspect and update your event pages through the HeySummit MCP, using the same Page Builder capabilities available in the dashboard.

Connected tools can list editable pages, inspect page content and layout, see available blocks and settings, and preview changes before applying them. Supported updates include adding, editing, moving and copying blocks, changing page settings, deleting blocks, resetting inherited pages and duplicating pages.

Every change stays scoped to the selected event and uses preview and confirmation safeguards. Image uploads, copying blocks between events and staff-only global template controls remain in the HeySummit dashboard.

Custom email sender setup now includes a clear four-step guide covering sender details, email verification, domain authentication, and getting ready to send.

HeySummit shows the exact DNS records needed for DKIM, an SPF-aligned MAIL FROM domain, and DMARC, with copyable values and status checks directly in the dashboard.

Open Manage Senders from the Emails page to update a sender, review its progress, resend or confirm verification, and see what still needs attention before using it for event emails.

Workspaces give you one shared home for related events, whether you run an annual summit, a webinar series, or a broader programme of events under the same brand.

Create a workspace from the event switcher, then add new events or move existing ones into it. For each event, choose whether it uses a path beneath the workspace address, such as events.acme.com/annual-summit, or keeps its own dedicated address, such as event.annualsummit.com. Either way, it remains a complete HeySummit event with its own landing pages, registration, talks, and reporting.

A workspace can stay private when you only need it to organise events inside your account, or you can publish a branded landing page with your logo, description, and social links. The page gives attendees and visitors one place to discover your brand, browse upcoming and past events, and subscribe for future announcements. Subscribers are notified when you publish a new event in that workspace.

This is our first step towards making HeySummit a better home for every event your organisation runs, bringing them together under one recognisable brand without forcing them all into the same format or public setup.

You can now choose exactly which speakers and talks appear in the Speakers Grid and Featured Talks blocks in Page Builder, even before talk times have been added to your agenda.

Use the new content selector in either block to choose specific active speakers or talks from your event. This makes it possible to promote your lineup while the schedule is still being finalised.

Existing blocks continue to choose content automatically, and you can switch between automatic and specific selection whenever you need.
