We’ve improved the One-Off Workshop event type in HeySummit to eliminate unnecessary distractions and create a more guided experience for your attendees. With the new ‘One-off Workshop Focus Mode’, the landing page now becomes the workshop’s detail page, removing clutter like schedules, talks, or speaker menus that aren’t relevant for single-focus events. This ensures attendees can quickly find and engage with the workshop content without confusion.

What’s New

• One-off Workshop Focus Mode: A new setting that, when enabled (default for new One-Off Workshops), optimizes the landing page by:

  • Displaying the individual talk detail page directly to attendees.

  • Hiding the main schedule, speakers, and talks menus for a cleaner, distraction-free experience.

  • Highlighting only the next upcoming talk (if multiple talks exist), with others revealed sequentially as previous ones conclude.

You can access this new setting in Setup > Update Event Settings.

This update ensures your attendees can quickly and easily focus on the core content of your workshop, creating a more seamless and engaging experience.
