HeySummit has enhanced the event organizer's dashboard with a feature allowing the manual addition of attendees, streamlining the registration process for special cases.
What's New:
- Directly Add Attendees: Organizers can now add attendees directly from the event dashboard (Reporting > Attendees). This should be done only with the attendee's consent.
- Off-Platform Payment Handling: If the event requires payment, this feature is intended for situations where payment has been processed outside of HeySummit. It simplifies adding attendees who have paid through external means.
- Direct Attendees for On-Platform Payment: For security reasons, if attendees need to pay for their ticket, they should still register themselves through the public event checkout page. This ensures secure handling of payment details within the platform.
This update ensures a balance between convenient registration management and maintaining the security and integrity of payment processes, enhancing the overall experience for both organizers and attendees.
