Simplified Onboarding with Passwords in Welcome Emails

To make attendee onboarding smoother and reduce inbox clutter, we’ve made a subtle change to how event login details are shared.

Now, when attendee passwords are enabled at the event level, each attendee’s password will be automatically included in the footer of their welcome email (rather than being sent as a separate email immediately afterwards). This helps ensure attendees can access the event platform without waiting for or searching through multiple messages.

What’s New

  • Passwords included in welcome emails: When password functionality is turned on for an event, attendees will now see their unique password at the bottom of the welcome email they receive.

  • Fewer emails sent: This change reduces the need to send a separate password email, cutting down on redundant communication.

  • Manual resending still available: Need to resend an attendee’s password? You can still do so anytime from the Reports > Attendees section if someone reaches out directly.

Quick note: We still generally recommend keeping attendee passwords turned off, as most attendees find it easier to log in using the magic link. But of course, that’s entirely up to you.
