We’ve added an optional “topics covered” field for Speakers, designed especially for situations where a speaker isn’t yet linked to a specific talk. This new feature helps you highlight speaker expertise on event landing pages—making it easier for attendees to discover relevant voices, even before sessions are finalized.

What’s New

• Optional categories for unlinked Speakers – Add topics to speakers who don’t yet have talks assigned, so they’re still discoverable.

• Better pre-event visibility – These topics appear on event landing pages, helping attendees identify speakers by subject matter.

• No duplication needed – If a speaker is already linked to talks with categories, there’s no need to use this field.

This update makes it easier to promote your full speaker lineup early, improving discoverability and giving attendees more reasons to get excited about your event.
