We’ve updated the talk submission process to give presenters more flexibility in how they share their proposals and to help organisers collect relevant details in one place.

What’s New

• Multiple presentation formats: Submitters can now select more than one format (Live, Pre-Recorded, In-Person, Any) instead of being limited to a single choice.

• Venue preferences: When enabled by organisers, submitters can specify their preferred venue for in-person presentations.

• Additional information field: Optional free-text area for submitters to share other relevant details about their talk.

• Centralised admin settings: New “Talk Submissions” section in Setup > Update Event Settings for enabling/disabling submissions and controlling whether venue preferences are collected.

These changes provide organisers with more complete information upfront, making it easier to match presentations to event needs.
