Building on existing controls for add-ons and donations, we’ve extended conditional availability to ‘ticket’ types themselves. This enhancement gives you more flexibility in managing complex ticketing rules - ensuring certain tickets are only accessible to attendees with specific tickets, or are restricted based on other ticket selections.

What’s New

• Ticket-level restrictions now available: Just like add-ons and donations, tickets can now be configured to require or exclude the presence of other tickets in an attendee’s cart.

• Applies during and after checkout: Validation occurs both in the initial checkout flow and any subsequent ticket purchases, keeping your rules consistently enforced.

• Smart visibility in checkout: Restricted tickets will appear during checkout if the attendee could still satisfy the requirement by selecting the prerequisite ticket in the same transaction - unless you’ve chosen to hide the ticket during checkout.

• Built-in validation safeguards: If a restricted ticket is selected without meeting the dependency requirement, the system will block the checkout and prompt the attendee to correct it.

This update allows for more curated and intentional ticketing flows, from exclusive VIP passes to tiered access options.
